AIMUC Spirit of the Game

Spirit of the Game is something we are very keen to promote and to encourage. We feel that Irish teams have always been very spirited and perhaps this has left us as a community to take it for granted. We feel that there is room for the Irish community to improve the way in which we play the game from a SoTG standpoint and as such are keen to work at this within our tournament planning.

We are aiming to promote Spirit of the Game during the build up to the event and over the course of the weekend and are open to any and all ideas the IFDA Committee or any other players might have in relation to this. Ideas for this far include:

– An MSP of the tournament

– Reading examples of good Spirit at the closing ceremony

Standard spirit scoring will be used.  These scores will be recorded electronically with breakdowns in each category available to teams following the competition.
